Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 31763/2015/K1 dated 25/05/2016 and to quash the same in so far as the rejection of the claim of the petitioner is concerned and consequently directing the respondents to revise the seniority of the petitioner in the post of Class-II Officer on par with his Junior S. William Sagayaraj with consequential promotion to the post of Class-IA Officer within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 31763/2015/K1 dated 25/05/2016 and to quash the same in so far as the rejection of the claim of the petitioner is concerned and consequently directing the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondents to revise the seniority of the petitioner in the post of Class-II Officer on par with his Junior S. William Sagayaraj with consequential promotion to the post of Class-IA Officer within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
