Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent in Letter (D) No. 155 dated 08.05.2017 and the consequential order dated 25.04.2018 in Letter No. 65700/C3/2016 and quash the same and direct the first respondent to grant promotion to the petitioner from the date of his eligibility as Lecturer along with all monetary and pensionary benefits.

The instant Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 08.05.2017 and the consequential order dated 25.04.2018, passed by the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that a similar issue has already been decided by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A. No. 2820 of 2018, etc., batch, dated 13.07.2022. Therefore, the issue involved in this Writ Petition is no longer res integra. 2/4

3. In view of the judgment passed in W.A. No. 2820 of 2018, etc., batch dated 13.07.2022, nothing survives in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
