..Respondent(s) Prayer : This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, calling for the records relating to the third respondent rejection order vide Na.Ka. No.E1/ 2642/ 2025 dated 29.09.2025 and the second respondent's order vide Na.Ka. No.E1/ 2642/ 2025 dated 20.11.2025 quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's pending second appeal dated 18.11.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

The petitioner has filed a statutory Second Appeal before the 1st respondent invoking Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005. He seeks for an early disposal of the same.
2. Mr.C.Vigneshwaran appearing for the first respondent states that the appeal has been numbered as 17005 of 2025 on 21.11.2025.
3. Mr.C.Vigneshwaran states that, currently the 1st respondent is dealing with appeals of the year 2023. The 1st respondent has issued a Circular in Circular No. 20/Admin-I/2025 dated 11.08.2025, whereby appeals filed by Senior Citizens have been directed to be taken up on a priority basis. The circular also states that such appeals could preferably be disposed of within a period of eight(8) weeks.
4. As the petitioner is a Senior Citizen, aged 70 years, Paragraph 1 of the said circular would apply to him. The 1st respondent shall endeavour to dispose of the appeal in terms of the Circular dated 11.08.2025.
