Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass order based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2015. For Petitioner : Mr.K.T.S.Sivakumar For Respondents : Mr.V.Subbiah Special Government Pleader.

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the Dharmakartha of Sri Muthu Marriamman Koil and conducting festival for so many years in a grand and peaceful manner and for this year also he intend to conduct festival during April 2015 and in connection with the same, sought the permission of the 2nd respondent to conduct a dance and song programme on 27.04.2015 vide representation dated 15.04.2015 and since, it has not been disposed of, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.K.T.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 15.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible and not later than 26.04.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
