O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order issued by this Court on 06.01.2015 in Crl.OP.No.32394 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, Mr.A.Sundarraj, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, ALGSC-II, Chennai-600 007 and Mr.P.Dekshinamoorthy, Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, ALGSC-II, Chennai - 600 007 are present.

4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his complaint dated 05.11.2014, has not been investigated by the police.

5. It is seen that on a complaint given by one Neelakantan, a case in Crime No.1331 of 2014 on the file of Ambattur Police Station has been registered by the Police, and this petitioner has been taken as witness in the said case. Since, a second FIR cannot be registered for the same cause of action, no direction was issued to the respondent-Police in Crl.OP.No. 32394 of 2014 and the same was closed.

6. In view of the above, this Court does not find prima facie materials for issuing contempt notice. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
