ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu by name Pancham Singh, S/o. Beemsen, aged 33 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. The petitioner, who is the employer of the detenu has come forward to file this petition. The detenu is stated to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

have been missing from 19.06.2018 onwards. A case has been registered for man missing in Cr.No.412 of 2018. The petitioner belongs to Rajasthan and the detenu belongs to Madhya Pradesh.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the efforts are on to trace the detenu.

4. Inasmuch as the detenu is missing for more than one year, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer especially when the same is filed only by the employer. However, we direct the second respondent to go on with the investigation and make all endeavor to trace the missing detenu. We also direct the first respondent to monitor and supervise the investigation. As and when, the detenu is secured, he should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

5. In such view of the matter, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
