Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the disposal of the suit in O.S.No.313 of 2022 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Kangeyam within a stipulated period. For Petitioners : Mr.K.Govi Ganesan

ORDER

This revision is at the instance of the defendants 4 to 8 in O.S.No.313 of 2022 before the Principal Sub Court, Kangeyam and the petitioners herein merely seeks speedy disposal of the said suit.

2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioners, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. Admittedly, the suit is one for declaration and other reliefs. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the suit was posted for trial even as earlier as September 2023, however, there is no movement for the last two years. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with this Civil Revision Petition, seeking expeditious disposal of the said suit.

4. In view of the above, the Principal Sub Court, Kangeyam is directed to commence the trial in O.S.No.313 of 2022 and dispose of the same finally on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
