This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to admit the petitioner in the 7th semester of B.A. LL.B., in the upcoming academic year and consequently allow the petitioner to pursue his studies irrespective of the pendency of the criminal case against him.

2. A memo dated 26.03.2024 is filed by the 1st respondent, wherein at paragraph No.5 it has been stated as follows:- "It is respectfully submitted that since all the bail conditions of the petitioner herein, have been relaxed, the petitioner herein, Thiru.U.Surya will be admitted in the 7th Semester of 5 year B.A., LL.B., Law Course in the Government Law College, Chengalpattu in the upcoming academic year 20242025 as prayed for by him." 2/4

3. Considering the above and recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
