[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to forthwith remove the lock and seal in respect of petitioner's premises in Survey Nos.96 & 97, Plot No.43, Kandasamy Nagar, Palavakkam Village, 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kanchipuram District, so as to enable the petitioner to rectify and restore the said premises in conformity with the sanctioned plan on the basis of the representation dated 10.02.2020.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel appearing for respondents/Corporation of Chennai.

3. Since the prayer itself is self-explanatory and given the limited nature of relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court is not traversing into the averments made in the affidavit. Accordingly, this Court directs respondents to remove the lock and seal in respect of petitioner's premises in Survey Nos.96 & 97, Plot No.43, Kandasamy Nagar, Palavakkam Village, Kanchipuram District, so as to enable the petitioner to rectify and restore the said premises in conformity with the sanctioned plan. In the event of petitioner failing to rectify the subject premises within a month, respondents are directed to proceed further to lock and seal the premises.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
