Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant special time scale of pay of Rs.1300-3000 + Grade Pay Rs.300 to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 with all consequential service and monetary benefits. For Petitioners : M/s.S.Easi Rani in both W.Ps.
For Respondents : Mr.M.S.Ramesh in both W.Ps.
Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners are presently working as part time sweepers in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Singarajapuram and Panchayat Union Preliminary School, Subramaniapuram. Their initial appointments were on 08.04.1996 and 01.01.1989 respectively.

2. According to the petitioners, the Government has issued an order in G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 providing for grant of special time scale of pay to those who are working on daily wage basis. The petitioners are similarly situated and as such they submitted representations on 09.01.2015 requesting the second respondent to extend them benefits of the said Government Order. The present request is to direct the second respondent to consider the same.
3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 09.01.2015 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
