The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to cancel the Registration of marriage dated 12.03.2008, by considering her representation dated 03.07.2014.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed a original petition in F.C.O.P.No.2138 of 2012, on the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai and the Family Court by an order dated 12.10.2012 annulled the marriage said to have been solemnized between the petitioner and one Dillibabu. When the marriage itself has been annulled by the Competent Court and there is no necessity for cancelling the registration made by the parties before the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as being devoid of merits. No costs.
