ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a charge sheet in Crime No.188 of 2015 pending on his file.
2. The case of the petitioners is that as against one G.Krishnan and others, they have lodged a complaint with the respondent police and the same was registered as FIR in Crime No.188 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC. Though the complaint was registered on 12.06.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.188 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
