These Criminal petitions filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent to file a final report in crime no. 1831 of 2016 and 1828 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and expedite the trial within the time as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present criminal original petitions have been filed to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime Nos.1831 of 2016 and 1828 of 2016.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that a case has been registered against the petitioner/accused in Crime No.1828 of 2016 for an offence under Section 392 IPC on 26.12.2016 and in Crime No.1831 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 341, 336, 427, 397 and 506(ii) IPC on 27.12.2016 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking further investigation in Crime Nos.1828 & 1831 of 2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration of the fact that the case was registered as early as on 26.12.2016 & 27.12.2016, the present criminal original petitions are disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1828 of 2016 and 1831 of 2016 and file the final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
