The claim of the Petitioner for appointment as Trustee in Arulmigu Sri Sengeni Amman Temple, Veerampatinam Village, Puducherry was rejected by the Second Respondent. According to the Petitioner, he made a representation dated 14.08.2018 to the Second Respondent to reconsider the rejection on the ground that the offence for which he had been charged was affray punishable under Section 160 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, which does not involve moral turpitude and he seeks the directions of this Court to the Second Respondent to dispose that representation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Having regard to the aforesaid nature of grievance sought to be ventilated by the Petitioner, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made by the Petitioner, directs the Second Respondent to pass orders on the said representation dated 14.08.2018 made by the Petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken on or before 30.09.2019. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is ordered on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
