Respondents Prayer:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in the impugned declaration results signed on 27.03.2018 and 28.03.2018 in form 22 under Rule 52(17)(C) of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Society Rules, 1988 on the file of the third respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner to conduct the proper election for post of Director in MD - 572, Adambakkam Aavin Consumer Co-operative Society. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 2 and 3 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1404/2018/T.nj.1 (9).

2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
