ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to modify the condition No.1 imposed in Crl.M.P.No.587 of 2026 vide order dated 02.02.2026 by the Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai-104, to furnish one among the sureties must be a blood surety.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners herein are not having any blood relatives and further, the conditions imposed are also onerous and they are ready to comply with the other conditions and also ready to give furnish the sureties.

3.I have also gone through the order passed by the Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai-104, in Crl.M.P.No. 587 of 2026, it revealed that it is not only NDPS cases for an intermediate quantity, but also the petitioners herein who are hailing from other States. 4.In view of the same, this Court is of the view that the bail condition imposed on the petitioners in Paragraph No.2(1) of the order in Crl.M.P.No. 587 of 2026, dated 02.02.2026, is modified as under:- "2(1). The petitioners are ordered to be released on bail, on each executing a bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) each with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur."

5.The rest of the conditions by order dated 02.02.2026 shall remains unaltered.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 24.02.2026 MSM 2/3
