Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in respect of the letter No.43047/M1/2012-1 dated 04.07.2013, issued by the 1st respondent, Government in Personnel Administrative Reforms (M) Department regarding the rejection of the peroposal of the 2nd
respondent, Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission sent on 30.10.2012 in his letter No.820/PDA2/2009 requesting the Government to introduce the saving clause to Regulations 8(1) and 13(1) of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 to safeguard the interest of the existing staff, quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioners, taking the seniority into consideration by including the petitioners in the respective promotional panel for the years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

This writ petition is for writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in respect of the letter No.43047/M1/2012-1 dated 04.07.2013, issued by the 1st respondent, Government in Personnel Administrative Reforms (M) Department regarding the rejection of the peroposal of the 2nd respondent, Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission sent on 30.10.2012 in his letter No.820/PDA2/2009 requesting the Government to introduce the saving clause to Regulations 8(1) and 13(1) of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 to safeguard the interest of the existing staff, quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioners, taking the seniority into consideration by including the petitioners in the respective promotional panel for the years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.
2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that, he got instruction from his client to withdraw the present writ petition. The submission has been recorded. The endorsement of the learned counsel for the writ petitioner has been taken on the memo of the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
