ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA,J.,) This petition has been filed by the petitioner, who has stated in the petition that his father Kuppusamy, the detenu is aged about 75 years and the father and mother went to Pirinthangara Devi Temple at Kumbakonam from Salem and thereafter, the detenu was found to be missing. 2.Status report has been filed explaining the progress of the investigation but no result has been shown sofar. 3.However, in the status report, the Police stations visited by the Head Constable on 18.06.2018 and the other places visited have been listed out. Apart from that, the stations visited and the places visited on 26.06.2018 have also been listed out. The further steps taken are highlighted in paragraphs 7 and 8 in the status report.

4. Under such circumstances, it is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that all possible steps have been taken out for investigation and as and when some progress is there in the investigation and the whereabouts of the detenu is known, it will be intimated to the petitioner herein.

5.Recording the undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
