This petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.79 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Magistrate Level, Coimbatore.

2.Today, the first petitioner along with his counsel on record and the second respondent/defacto complainant are present. Their identities have been verified. They have stated that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. A joint memo of compromise dated 05.04.2017 duly signed by the first petitioner and his counsel on record and the second respondent has been filed to that effect. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly the R2/defacto complainant about the factum of compromise and the terms of the compromise, she admitted the same. the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.79 of 2014 initiated against the petitioners herein.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.79 of 2014 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Magistrate Level, Coimbatore, against the petitioners, is quashed. The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
