Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records made in Detention Order in C.M.P.No.2/Goonda/C2/2018 dated 16.01.2018 issued by the first respondent and set aside the same as illegal and for a direction directing the Respondents herein to produce the body and person of detenue A.Vasanth, S/o.Archunan aged about 38 years who has been termed as Goonda and now confined in Central Prison, Salem before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M. SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, brought to the notice of this that Court the order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority. In this regard, the Government issued G.O.Rt.No.896, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 12.03.2018 has also been issued.

2.Thus, no further adjudication is required in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
