Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondents to consider the Appeal dated 25.12.2024 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in respect of the cancellation of patta in Government poromboke land in Patta No.472/7, 472 /8 in V. Kalathur Village, Perambalur District.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 25.12.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for the cancellation of patta issued in the names of respondents 4 and 5 and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.T.Dharani, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be 2/4

a direction to the third respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 25.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 4 and 5 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
