ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, KV Kuppam Police Station, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District to provide police protection to the trust premises situate at Door No.4/140, Rural Development Trust, Veppankaneri Village, K.V. Kuppam Post, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District.

2.The petitioner, who claims to be running a Trust with his wife anticipates trouble from the anti social elements, particularly from one Sasivanna Maran, with regard to the tailoring unit run by the Trust in K.V.Kuppam Post, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District. In this regard, the petitioner has also given a representation dated 05.11.2016 to the second respondent, seeking for police protection. 3.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the present criminal original petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint/representation dated 05.11.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a due opportunity to the aforesaid Sasivanna Maran and other persons, who were entrusted with the trust property. 4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
