The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct investigation expeditiously and proceed in accordance with the law for speedy recovery of cheating the amount or executing sale deed on the file of the Commissioner of Police, Chennai Office No.C.No.1350/CCB/COP/Visitors/2025 dated 18.11.2025. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that an enquiry was conducted based on the complaint dated 18.11.2025 and on finding that the dispute between the parties was civil in nature, the enquiry was closed. The same has also been reported to the petitioner and a copy of the report has also been sent to the petitioner through registered post on 17.02.2026. Today, a copy of the report has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2/4

Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
