ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police.

2. Mr.Soundara pandian, Sub Inspector, was present at the time of hearing through video conferencing. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram, dated 13.01.2020 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. Taking into consideration the subsequent development that has been taken in this case and also recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram to act upon the final report filed by the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
