This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2020 and grant protection and permission to conduct Kalai Vidum Vizha (Jallikattu) at Kalambur, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District scheduled to be held on 01.03.2020 from 8.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition with regard to the permission for conducting Kalai Vidum Vizha (Jallikattu) on 01.03.2020, which expired and hence, this Criminal Original Petition itself has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
