O R D E R

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 29.09.2017.

2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 2 and 3 have not provided any road and drainage facility to Periyar Nagar in Lakshminarayanapuram. It is further submitted that the road has been laid about 15 years ago and thereafter, it has not been either repaired or re-laid. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 29.09.2017 and to the first respondent on 18.12.2018. Since the said representations were not evoked any response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. None appears for the respondents 2 and 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the second respondent is the competent Authority to consider the representation of the petitioner and he may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4. In the light of the submissions and also considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into merits of the case, directs second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2017, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
