ORDER

In a suit for recovery of a sum of Rs.11,41,54,165/-, the plaintiffs have filed the present application to direct the respondents to furnish security for the suit claim and, in case of failure to do so, for an attachment before judgment of the immovable properties described in the schedule to the Judge's summons.

2. The agreed position is that a mortgage was created in favour of the plaintiffs in respect of the seven items of property described in the schedule to the Judge's summons. Upon noticing the same, I directed the parties to obtain and submit a valuation report in respect of the immovable properties. The plaintiffs have submitted a report dated 12.01.2026 valuing the land at about

Rs.20 crores. The defendants, on the other hand, have submitted valuation report dated 13.01.2026 valuing the properties at Rs.41,30,15,000/-. Even if one were to proceed on the basis of the valuation report submitted by the plaintiffs, the suit claim is adequately secured by the mortgage. By taking note of these facts, the present application stands disposed of. 19-01-2026 kj (1/2)
