This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent Police to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner and his family members by disposing of the petitioner's representation/ complaint dated 14.07.2023. 2.The first respondent is deleted from the array of respondents. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2023 at the earliest. 5.In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2023 2/4

within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
