ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.15586 of 2016, by order dated 26.04.2016, has directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 26.04.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 15.02.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner since the petitioner did not produce the original documents inspite of receipt of the notice sent by the respondent. Thus, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he is so advised.
