Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2020 and take action in converting the Electricity Service Connection bearing No.041022-3714 for the petitioner's house from commercial to domestic and also fix the Electricity Meter box Board in the petitioner's building from the present two wooden poles.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking conversion of the electricity service connection for his house from commercial to domestic purpose.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner, after obtaining the building permission to
construct a house, obtained temporary electricity service connection on 03.07.2018. Accordingly, a meter was fixed. The entire construction was over and the petitioner requested the respondents to change the electricity service connection from commercial to domestic. Since the temporary electricity service connection was under the commercial tariff, in order to change the same, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents. In spite of several request made by the petitioner, the respondents did not even inspect the premises and no steps have been taken to change the electricity service connection to domestic purpose. Hence, this writ petition.
4. The third respondent, by its communication dated 22.03.2019, stated that 110 KV line is passing through the building of the petitioner and suitable modification has to be made in the building. Accordingly, the petitioner had demolished 10 feet height structure built on the open terrace. Now the gap is more than 40 feet between the building and the 110 KV line. Thereafter, it was duly informed to the respondent by enclosing the photographs of the building. Even then the respondents did not even inspect the premises.

In view of the submission, the respondents are directed to inspect the petitioner's premises forthwith, if it is in accordance with their requirements and to convert the electricity service connection from commercial tariff to domestic tariff within a period of two weeks from the date of inspection.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
