Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the order passed in A.P.No.305 of 2011 dated 25.07.2013 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records pertaining to the order passed in A.P.No.305 of 2011 dated 25.07.2013 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same.
2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner Metropolitan Transport Corporation, (Chennai) Limited submitted the copy of the Board Resolution passed during the meeting held on 27.09.2022 agreeing for the settlement of terminal and pensionary benefits due to the deceased workman namely ThiruA.Kathirvel, who is the 1st
respondent in W.P.No.18922 of 2016.
3. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent / workman has no objection for the terms and conditions stipulated in the resolution of the Board and accordingly, agreed to receive all the terminal and pensionary benefits due to the deceased employee of the Transport Corporation.
4. In view of the said resolution dated 27.09.2022, the writ petitioner is directed to settle all the terminal and pensionary benefits due to the deceased employee as per the resolution within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 15.11.2022 Jeni Index : Yes Speaking order
