The petitioner herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1) and 5(1)(a) of 1/4

the Immoral Traffic ( Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.1 of 2026 on the file of the respondent, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that this petitioner and another accused are running a brothel house and they forced the victim lady to involve in prostitution. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and and he is ready to co-operate with the investigation and abide by any other stringent conditions imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that this petitioner forced the victim lady to involve in prostitution. He further submitted that on the basis of the prior information the respondent police went to the occurrence and rescued the victim lady. However he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the submissions made by both sides; the nature of offence and the role played by the petitioner in this case this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
