2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) represented that neither a case registered nor a petition enquiry is pending against the petitioner.
