Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, to consider and grant relief based on the representation dated 25.03.2015 to direct the 1st Respondent to extend the tender period for further one year in NA.KA.No. 380/2012/A3 dated 30.03.2012. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Periasamy For Respondents : Mr.I.Arokiasamy (for R1 and R2) Government Advocate.

O R D E R

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a licencee to cultivate spike grass and he submitted a representation dated 25.03.2015 to the 1st respondent praying for extension of the period of licence and also willing to deposit 10% extra amount for the above said period and though, it was acknowledged by the 1st respondent on 27.03.2015, he has not been favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Periasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.I.Arokiasamy, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 25.03.2015, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible and not later than three weeks from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
