Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in Special Resolution No.6 dated 19.08.2015 and quash the said resolution as illegal and against the provisions of the Wakf Act.

The learned counsel for the second respondent submits that the third respondent is no more the office bearer of the Wakf Board. The Government has accepted the resignation of the third respondent and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition.

2. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the second respondent, the Writ Petition is closed as become infructuous. If at all anything survives, it is open to the petitioner to reopen the same. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
