(Order of the court was delivered by R.Subramanian, J.) The prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows: The petitioner seeks a direction to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the communication of the first respondent vide his letter No.EC/N-I/13044/2020 dated 15.12.2020.

2.As per the directions issued on 13.10.2022, learned Standing Counsel for the Chennai Corporation has filed a Status Report, wherein it is stated that 2/4

the Chennai Corporation has issued a Locking, Sealing and Demolition Notice on 26.10.2022 and it is stated that further action against the building in question will be taken as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

3.Recording the said statement, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Chennai Corporation to pursue the action taken to its logical conclusion. There shall be no order as to costs.
