ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent police and to file final report.

2. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that investigation in Crime No.21 of 2018 has been almost completed. The respondent police will file the final report before the Jurisdictional Court, concerned, within a period of six months.

3.This Court took note of the fact that investigation in this case is pending for the past 4 years. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion, direction may be issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
