The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.674 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent police and to file final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.674 of 2021 for the offence under section 406, 420 of IPC is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the Respondent police to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months from today.
