(Prayer amended as per order dated 23.03.2015 by TSSJ in M.P.No.2/2014 in W.P.No.27591 of 2013)

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS to direct the 5th respondent to order for the issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of 16 1⁄2 cents in S.No.153/5, Thalambur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. Though this writ petition challenging the order passed by the first respondent subsequently amended the prayer for mandamus directing the fifth respondent to order for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.153/5 to an extent of 16-1/2 cents situated at Thalambur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. Considering the said prayer, without going into the merits of the writ petition, the petitioner is directed to make fresh representation to the fifth respondent and on receipt of the same, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits in accordance with law. After giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
