ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders in the pending proceedings dated 24.11.2022 in Na.Ka.No.3935/2022/Aa1 dated 24.11.2022 and to grant patta in the name of the petitioner and his brothers for the subject properties. 2.
Heard N.Ponraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.

The petitioner and his brothers are claiming rights over the subject property by virtue of the registered partition deed dated 08.03.2022 and the consent deed dated 15.04.2011. The petitioner made an application seeking for grama natham patta with respect to the subject property in the name of the petitioner and his brothers. On receipt of the same, the 2 nd respondent sought for information from the 1 st respondent and the 1 st respondent through communication dated 24.11.2022 raised certain queries. Thereafter, there was absolutely no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and considering the fact that the 2 nd respondent has sought for an information from the 1 st respondent and the 1 st respondent also raised some queries and the proceedings are kept pending for more than three years, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
