PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to modify the condition imposed as "Para no.7(b) the petitioner shall report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.O.P.No.2326 of 2025 dated 03.02.2025. ORDER

The petitioner seeks modification of the condition directing him to appear before the respondent police, every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2326 of 2025 dated 03.02.2025.

2. Mr.S.Santhosh, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has complied with the condition only six days as on date.

3. In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a final-year B.Com (G) student whose college classes start at 08.30 a.m., and hence, the petitioner is unable to comply with the condition to appear before the respondent police.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a student, this Court is inclined to modify the condition in para no.7(b) imposed on the petitioner in Crl. O.P.No.2326 of 2025 dated 03.02.2025 to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvallur, on all working days @ 5.00 p.m., and appear before the respondent Page No.2 of 4

police on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. The other conditions imposed in the order dated 03.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.2326 of 2025 shall remain unaltered.
