ORDER

By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.This petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue a ''No Objection Certificate'' to run the business of Massage Parlour, Spa and Beauty Parlour in the name and style of Apple Spa and Unisex Saloon, at No.585/2, Odanthurai, Ooty Main Road, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2025.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Addl.Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4.The case of the petitioner is that he established the above mentioned Spa, in the name and style of Apple Spa and Unisex Saloon However, later, he came to know that it is necessary to obtain a ''No Objection Certificate'' from the respective jurisdictional police to run the Spa. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation dated 27.12.2025 to the respondents seeking to issue ''No Objection Certificate'. Since no action is forthcoming by the respondents till

date, the petitioner was constrained to file the present writ petition.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders.

6. At this juncture, the learned Addl.Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

7. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 18-02-2026 DN
