2. Crl. O.P.No.4701 of 2024 has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR has been registered as against her husband, viz., the fourth respondent herein, in Crime No.26 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 417, 406, 323,
294(b), 506(ii) of IPC and it is pending for investigation on the file of the second respondent. Therefore, there is no question of harassing the petitioner by the second respondent. After registration of the FIR, police protection does not arise.
5. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in these petitions cannot be considered and are liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, both the Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. 05.02.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order Lpp To
