Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent or the Competent Authority as G.O.Ms.No.318, dated 30.08.2019 to issue patta to the petitioners with respect to the land measuring an extent of 892 Sqft., situated at Old No.11, New No.60, Venkatesa Agraharam Road, comprised in S.No.3342/4, Block No.66, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004. ORDER

The petitioners have moved the first respondent Vide their representation dated 30.08.2019 to issue patta to the petitioners with respect of the land comprised in S.No.3342/4, Block No.66, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 3 and made a statement on instructions that the representation of the petitioners in under the consideration of first respondent/Commissioner of Land Administration.

3.The first respondent/Commissioner of Land Administration is now directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to such responsibilities as may be assigned to the first respondent in connection with the General Elections, 2021.

4.The first respondent is also required to communicate any such proceedings that might be passed on the representation of the petitioners to the petitioners by a method where due service is capable of being ascertained or proved.
