Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 28.12.2024 sent by the petitioners to the 1st respondent, inquire into the grievances of the petitioners after giving the petitioners an opportunity of being heard and dispose of their above representation dated 28.12.2024 and to direct the 3rd respondent and 2nd respondent to unblock and activate the agency codes and business portals of the petitioners for their livelihood and carrying on business and pay all remuneration due to the petitioners.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2024 and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

When the matter came up for hearing, Mr.M.B.Raghavan, the learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and sought time to get instructions from the 1st respondent in this regard. However, in view of the nature of the order that is proposed to be passed, time is not given and notice is also not ordered to the respondents 2 and 3 and the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself on the following terms:- (i) The 1st respondent - Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India shall take up the representation of the petitioners dated 28.12.2024 for enquiry and after due issue of notice to the respondents 2 and 3, consider the

same in accordance with law and dispose of the same in the manner known to law;

(ii) The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of the website uploaded copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy.

(iii) No costs.
