Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of declaration, declaring that the quota demand fixed at 2562 KVA instead of 3400 KVA and quota energy at 16,041 units instead of 7,19,504 units by applying 20% power cut and the sum of Rs.26,55,032/- and Rs.13,179/- levied by the respondent in CC Bill dated 31.03.2011 for the month of March 2011 towards penalty for excess energy consumption over and above 16041 units and excess quota demand of 2562 KVA are arbitrary, unreasonable, ex-facie illegal as against the very policy of the Government on power restriction and the respondent's letter No.SE/CEDC/NORTH/AEE/GL/F/Power cut/D.1103/2009 dated 15.06.2009 and consequently, direct the respondent to implement the power cut and allow the petitioner to consume energy and demand as per its letter dated 15.06.2009.
