Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act for wilful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.OP.No.8193 of 2014 dated 10.04.2014. For Petitioner : M/s.P.Mahalakshmi, No appearance. For Respondent : Mr.M.Mohammed Riyaz Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side)

O R D E R

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the records.

2.This Court by its order dated 10.04.2014 made in Crl.OP.No.8193 of 2014, in paragraph 3 of the order it is observed as follows :- "3. A complainant was given by the petitioner as early as on 22.11.2012, but so far, no case has been registered based on the said complaint. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), some https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ cognizable offence has been made out.

Therefore, the respondent police is directed

to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.11.2012 and investigate the same in accordance with law." 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) filed status report and contended that as per the direction of this Court dated 10.04.2014 made in Crl.OP.No.8193 of 2014, the respondent/Inspector of Police, Arcot Town Police Station, Arcot, Vellore District has registered a case in Cr.No.611 of 2014 on 01.11.2014 for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 466, 471 of IPC and the investigation is pending.

4.The order of this Court dated 10.04.2014 made in Crl.OP.No.8193 of 2014, has already been complied with, no further order is necessary. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
