O R D E R

The Writ petitioner in W.P.No.10321 of 2009 has filed the instant contempt petition alleging that the respondent has not complied with the order

passed by this Court, dated 22.4.2010 in M.P.No.1 of 2009. The counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the final order passed by this Court, it is observed in paragraph 13, the workman viz., the petitioner herein is permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.1,81,096.50 from the Labour Court, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation would submit that the petitioner has withdrawn the aforesaid amount from the Labour Court, Chennai and therefore, no contempt is made out against the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner disputed the statement made by the counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation by stating that the respondent Corporation has not settled the entire amount eligible to the petitioner. According to the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation in sofar as the disputed amount arising out of the order passed in M.P.No.1 of 2009 will be decided in W.P.No.22576 of 2019.

4. Recording the statement made by the counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation, no contempt is made out. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to the petitioner to
