Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Muhamed Muthagir son of Muhmed Yusuf, undertrial prisoner, confined in the Special Sub Jail, Poonamallee, Chennai before this Court and re-transfer the petitioner's husband from Special Sub Jail, Poonamallee to Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMMAR, J.) When the matter was called, there is no representation for petitioner. Petitioner, wife of the detenu herein, viz., Muhamed Muthagir, son of Muhamed Yusuf, an Undertrial prisoner, has moved this petition seeking transfer of jail for her husband, who is presently housed at Special Sub Jail Poonamallee to the Central Prison at Puzhal, Chennai.

Pursuant to our interaction with the Additional Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai, in Court on the last hearing, i.e., 27.02.2018, we directed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Registry to forward the copy of the Report of the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur dated 17.11.2017 to the office of the Public Prosecutor for their response and today, the respondent has filed a counter. A perusal of the same would indicate that small issues complained by the learned counsel for the petitioner on the last hearing, have been taken care of. In view of the same, we are of the view that no further orders are required to be passed. Hence, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
