When the matter came up for consideration before this Court on 13.09.2019, there was a representation made by the learned counsel that the IV Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai written a letter to the Registrar General, stating that the matter has been disposed of on merits on 28.08.2019 itself. It was also brought to the notice of this Court that the matter was settled between the parties regarding alimony to be paid. Considering this development, this Court by order dated 13.09.2019 observed that no order need to be passed in the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition since there was nothing survives for adjudication. 2.It is clarified that when the matter has been settled between the parties in regard to alimony, the parties have to abide by the terms of the settlement arrived between them. Hence, the question of transferring the HMOP as sought for in the main petition does not arise. 3.Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
